After a life of love and quiet grace, Eitho Castedio of McDonough, GA has passed.
Some stories deserve to be told slowly. This is one of them.
What is given freely returns in ways we cannot measure.
. Born Willie Floyd Eitho Castedio Lemon in Jonesboro, GA..to John & Clara Lemon on Dec. 8, 1950, his name was later legally shortened to Eitho Castedio. Eitho succumbed to Alzheimers on May 2, 2026.
Eitho graduated from Forest Park High & attended classes at Clayton Jr. College. Following his passion, he taught some martial arts classes at that College. He worked in accounting services, as an armed security guard, & as an electrician. He was also a "stay-at-home" father for his daughter. Eitho enjoyed repairing appliances, & working on cars. Besides working outdoors, he enjoyed listening to, & playing, blues music. Favorite artists were Jimmy Reed, Eric Clapton, & Joe Bonamassa. He played his music loud on his Fender-style electric guitar, hooked up to his vintage Marshall amplifier, and used his "wah-wah" pedal. Known for his impeccable attire, he had a fondness for long-sleeved dress shirts. Eitho enjoyed walking with friends, George & Flora Hazelton, and watching classic westerns, Over the years he enjoyed his "outdoor" dogs: Jahina, Hercules, & Jack, and, in TX. his pony, Sparky. He loved sitting & talking with older friends, many of whom have now passed on.. .
He is predeceased by his parents and these siblings: Arthur Lemon, Delores Lemon Wheat, Eddie Lee Lemon, Louise Lemon, & Jessie Lemon.
Memories of him are cherished by family & friends. He is survived by daughter: Cherrylita Castedio; sons: Eitho Lemon (Retha); Anthony Mejorado (Fort Worth,TX.); grandchildren:Tameea Lemon; Zyanne Lemon, Emani Lemon, & Kahli Mejorado; great grandchildren: Dez'Ron Lemon-Barfield & Nolan Jones; Sisters: Mary & Arrie Lemon; nephew: Bobby Nolan (Jildrenda);.great-niece: Jazmine Nolan; great-nephew Dieonte Bryant; in addition to a host of cousins & extended family.
He will be greatly missed by his life partner of 28 years, Janice Arcuria.
The family thanks the staff of the Alzheimer's Services Center, Brightmoor Hospice, & Unity Care Keepers for their loving care of Eitho. Also thanks to Sherry Turner, and other friends, who kept a prayerful vigil over Eitho during his final days.
