Floyd E. MarshallAge 85, of Alliance, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2026 in the Rose Lane Care Center in Massillon. He was born November 25, 1940 in Cameron, WV to Charles and Lucy (Church) Marshall. He had worked for Transue and Williams Forge in Alliance where he was in the Boilermaker’s Union. He was the owner of Marshall Apiary for many years and active in the Columbiana County and Mahoning County Beekeepers Association. He is a member of the Silver Park Church of Christ in Alliance and was a US Army Veteran.He is preceded in death by his wife, Sarah (Clapper) Marshall who died in 2019, and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by 2 daughters, Cheryl (Perry) Lemasters of Alliance, Jerri (Robert) Lare of Alliance, sisters, Lillian Cremeans of Maximo, brother, Paul (Betty) Marshall of Alliance, 2 grandchildren, Tyler (Brinley) Heestand, Christian Oyster and 2 great grandchildren, Rowan Oyster and Reid Oyster.Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Cody Hamby officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services Saturday from 9 am to 11 am at the funeral home.
