After a life of love and quiet grace, Fonda Louise Nacio of Pine Prairie, LA has passed.

Below, a small portrait of a life that will not soon be forgotten.

We measure lives in love, not minutes.

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Fonda Louise Johnson Nacio will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Pine Prairie Church of Christ, with Brother Danny Hebert officiating. Interment will follow in St. Peters Cemetery, Pine Prairie, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Mrs. Nacio, 57, of Pine Prairie, entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Ochsner LSU Health Center, Shreveport, LA.

Fonda was outgoing and adventurous, someone who never met a stranger. She found joy in helping others, always made people feel welcome, and had a special way of making everyone around her laugh. In her free time, she loved hunting and fishing, embracing the outdoors whenever she could. Above all, she cherished her loyal dog, Roxie, who was always by her side.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Cherry Johnson.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of forty years, Bobby Nacio of Pine Prairie; one daughter, Sunnie Brooke Nacio of Bayou Chicot; one son, Jacob Johnson of Bayou Chicot; one brother, Michael Corey Johnson (Nicki) of Crooked Creek; four sisters, Tina McFarlain (Travis) of Pine Prairie, Nichole Johnson of Pine Prairie, Kristie Ardoin (Jody) of Pine Prairie, and Casey Johnson of Crooked Creek; and four grandchildren, Brogan, Banx, Henslie, and Banner.

A time of visitation will be held at Pine Prairie Church of Christ, on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Visitation will resume in the church on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Jacob Johnson and members of the Pine Prairie Volunteer Fire Department.
