It is with sorrow and gratitude that we mark the passing of Angela Lee "Angie" Taylor of Florence, KY — sorrow at the loss, gratitude for the life.
A life remembered begins, simply, with the telling.
Angela spent her working life as ['InHealth and later in membership development for Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.
Time has its way of binding people together.
Angela "Angie" Lee Taylor, 46, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly on May 1, 2026, at her residence.
Born on September 17, 1979, Angie lived her life with a vibrant spirit that was impossible to miss. She never met a stranger, only friends she hadn't yet made. Angie had a way of drawing people in with her warmth, her energy, and her genuine interest in others. She was the kind of person who could strike up a conversation anywhere and leave someone smiling by the end of it.
Above all else, Angie was a devoted and loving mother to her daughters, Caitlyn and Lily, who were truly her world. She poured herself into their lives, celebrating every moment, big or small. Whether she was coaching volleyball, planning celebrations, or simply making everyday moments feel special, Angie was all in. When Lily faced health challenges, Angie met them head-on-researching, learning, and advocating tirelessly to ensure her daughter felt supported, included, and never defined by limitations.
Angie was creative, vivacious, and full of life, she didn't just have fun, she was fun. She had a natural gift for making experiences meaningful, from thoughtful gift-giving to beautifully decorated gatherings. Her love language was clear in the way she cared for others-with intention, generosity, and heart.
Growing up, Angie was a "girly girl" who loved hair, makeup, and all things Barbie-but she was also an incredibly talented athlete. She excelled in volleyball, basketball, and softball, where she could truly crush the ball. Her competitive spirit ran deep, whether on the field or around a table playing cards. She brought that same passion and drive into every part of her life.
A proud graduate of the University of Mississippi, Class of 2002, Angie earned her degree in marketing with a minor in fashion merchandising. During her time there, she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi, where she was actively involved in intramural sports and even selected for the Modeling Board as a freshman.
After college, Angie made her home in Memphis before settling in the Atlanta area. She worked for InHealth and later in membership development for Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. She eventually returned to Northern Kentucky, bringing her energy and love for people wherever she went.
Angie had a deep love for music-especially bands like Pearl Jam-and enjoyed crafting, photography, and time spent with friends. If she had free time, she was rarely alone; she thrived in the company of others, whether at a euchre tournament, cheering on her daughters, or simply sharing laughter with those she loved. She had a natural instinct to help, always believing she could make things better for someone else.
Angie was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn J. Harrison (née Click), and her uncle, Bruce McAtee.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Caitlyn and Lily; her father, Bob Harrison; her sister, Amy (Casey) Green; her nephews, Sawyer and Brooks Green; her niece, Emery Green; her boyfriend, Steve Bailey; along with one uncle, two aunts, and four cousins.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Burlington, KY, followed by words of remembrance at 12PM at the funeral Home.
