It is with sorrow and gratitude that we mark the passing of Athena and Jeremy Serenity Aniyah Jr. Lucero of Austin, TX — sorrow at the loss, gratitude for the life.
Below, a small portrait of a life that will not soon be forgotten.
A parent's life is measured, in part, by the lives they shaped.
Remembrance
With hearts both heavy and full of love, we share the passing of three beloved children, Aniyah Serenity Lucero (Age 10), Athena Marie Lucero (Age 7), and Jeremy Ventura Lucero Jr (Age 5), who went home to be with the Lord on March 11, 2026.
These three were more than siblings-they were best friends, constant companions, and a beautiful reflection of joy, laughter, and unconditional love. Wherever one was, the others were never far behind. Their bond was unbreakable, filled with shared adventures, joyful memories, and a deep love that will continue to live on in our hearts.
Together, they created a kind of happiness that words can hardly capture-a home filled with laughter, music, play, and love. They were rooted in faith, knowing God and reflecting His love in the way they cared for others, especially each other.
They were cherished children of Jeremy Lucero and Samantha Noriega and loving little sister Aria, who will carry their memory forward with strength and love. They are also deeply loved by their extended family, friends, and all who had the blessing of knowing them. They are reunited with Uncle Mark Rodela Jr and Great Grandmothers Rosie Davila Magaña and Rosario Maria Blanco.
Though their time here was far too short, their lives were full-full of love, purpose, and moments that will forever be treasured. We find comfort in knowing they are safely held in the arms of our Heavenly Father, reunited in peace, and surrounded by eternal love.
We will miss their laughter, their voices, and the way they filled every room-but we hold tightly to the promise that this is not goodbye, only "see you again."
