It is with sorrow and gratitude that we mark the passing of Barbara "Barb" Lawrence of Royersford, PA — sorrow at the loss, gratitude for the life.
A life is more than dates on a stone; here is a small portion of her story.
Memory has a way of softening time.
Barbara (Pollick) Lawrence, 73, wife of Thomas E. Lawrence, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Pottstown Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Dennis Pollick and Virginia Mae (Linton) Pollick.
Barb had her own business: "Barb's Baton Bargains" for many years. She was into yoga, kickboxing, and designing and sewing twirling costumes. Barb loved going to the beach; especially Ocean City, New Jersey. She enjoyed listening to classic rock music and adored spending time with her grandchildren. Barb was a strong fighter who was a 16-year breast cancer survivor. She loved decorating and hosting family and friends during the holidays. On beautiful sunny days, she could often be found enjoying their swimming pool.
Surviving along with her husband, Thomas, is her son Chris Moyer, husband of Karen; daughter Rachel Lawrence; brother Steve Pollick, husband of Sharon; brother Andy Pollick; grandchildren Josh Moyer and Maddie Moyer; niece Dawn Pollick, significant other of Dave Manns; her grand cats Waffles and Cinnamon Bun and her grand dog Lacie. She is predeceased by her brother Mike Pollick.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 9:00AM-11:00AM at Catagnus Funeral Home (329 N. Lewis Rd, Royersford, PA 19468). A time of sharing remembrances will follow at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date.
