Chung Ming Wong, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on May 3, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was 84 years old.
Born on November 11, 1941, in Hong Kong, Chung Ming carried with him a deep sense of family, resilience, and quiet strength throughout his life. He was an exceptional cook and a dedicated restaurant owner, sharing his talent and passion for food with his community. Whether in the kitchen or at home, he took great pride in bringing people together through his cooking. He also had a natural gift for gardening, tending to his plants with care and patience, a reflection of the love he showed to those around him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Qiu Hong Huang, his sons George Wong (Alyssa), Brandon Gu (Emily), and his cherished granddaughters Tiffany and Erica. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his warmth, and the lasting impact he had on those fortunate enough to know him.
Chung Ming's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
