It is with sorrow and gratitude that we mark the passing of Dennis Ray Fournier of Pleasanton, TX — sorrow at the loss, gratitude for the life.
These few paragraphs cannot hold a life, but they may carry a memory.
Quiet kindness echoes longest.
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Dennis Ray Fournier . He was born to Clarence and Bernice (Davis) Fournier in San Antonio on September 5, 1948.
He was a man who found joy in the simple, meaningful things in life. He loved to fish, finding peace by the water with a line in hand, and took great pride in his garden, where his patience and care brought life to everything he touched. A natural tinkerer, he could fix just about anything, and many will remember him as the person everyone called when something was broken and needed to be made right again.
Above all else, he treasured his family. He was a steady presence, a dependable helper, and a loving supporter who showed his love through his actions every day. His life was defined by hard work, kindness, and generosity, and his legacy lives on in the lives of those he loved.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his skillful hands, gentle heart, and unwavering devotion to his family. Though he may be gone, his lessons, laughter, and love will remain with us always.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Dodson Fournier, sons, Timothy Fournier (Brandy), Brian Fournier (Julie), sister, Linda Bowles, grandchildren, Sonny Fournier (Kayla), Jacie Galland (Zach), Dennis Fournier (Michelle Turnham), Jack Fournier, Dakota Fournier, Montanna Fournier, Kacie Fournier, great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Ellie, James, Addie, Foster, Cody, and Charlee. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Dennis is preceded by his parents, C. D. "Sonny" and Bernice Fournier and brother, Erwin Fournier.
