It is with sorrow and gratitude that we mark the passing of Georgia N. "Yia-Yia G" Pandeladis of Penn Hills, PA — sorrow at the loss, gratitude for the life.

Georgia N. (Stefanakos) Pandeladis passed suddenly, on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the age 86. Georgia was born in New York City, grew up in Franklin Pennsylvania and was a long-time resident of Penn Hills. Beloved wife of the late Nickolas Pandeladis. Loving mother of Leonidas (Leo) Pandeladis and Cathy Elaine Pandeladis. Daughter of the late Konstantinos and Eugenia Stefanakos and loving sister. Also survived by many, many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, God children and extended relatives and friends. Long time teacher in the Penn Hills School district affectionally known as "Mrs. P" to her students. Also known as Yia-Yia G to Nikki and Maddi and Mommie to Herky. Friends will be received on Thursday, May 7th, from 3-8 PM at the Burket-Truby Funeral Home, 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont, PA 15139, where a Trisagion Service will be held at 7 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 8th, 11 AM, Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, 12 Washington Avenue, Oakmont, PA 15139, with an additional hour of visitation prior to the funeral service. Interment to follow in Homewood Cemetery. Georgia was the long-time Scholarship Chair of the Pan-Icarian Foundation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pan-Icarian Foundation for the Georgia Pandeladis Scholarship Fund or to either St. Nickolas Greek Orthodox Cathedral or Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, of which she and Nicholas were long time members.

Burket-Truby Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
