It is with sorrow and gratitude that we mark the passing of Jeffrey Jeff "Jeff" Patre of Palmyra, MO — sorrow at the loss, gratitude for the life.

A life remembered begins, simply, with the telling.

Jeffrey spent his working life as ['Pal Bowl in Palmyra', 'welder for Knapheide in West Quincy'] and held deeply to the Baptist faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.

The traditions Jeffrey loved will continue to hold those he loved.

Jeffrey "Jeff" Allen Patre, born September 10, 1959, passed away peacefully on the morning of May 4, 2026, at 4:17 AM, at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He was surrounded by family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 8, 2026, at Mission Hill Baptist Church in Palmyra, MO. Pastor Lewis will officiate. Burial will follow at Mission Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Palmyra, MO.

Friends and Family are invited to Jeff's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Mission Hill Baptist Church in Palmyra, MO.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra, MO.

Jeff married the love of his life, Connie Mast, on June 7, 1980, in Palmyra, Missouri. Together they had two children, Jennifer Lynn Patre and Michael Jacob Patre. He was also foster parents to his nieces and nephew, Tiana, Tiffany and David. Jeff also was the father figure to Tina, Tonya, and Travis.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Connie. His two children, Jennifer (Erik) Phillips, Michael (Lacey) Patre, other children he raised, Tina, Tonya, Travis as well as Tiana, Tiffany, and David. Jeff also leaves behind three grandchildren, Karter, Kamryn, and Konlyn and step grandchildren, Elyssa Kinder and Lane Phillips, grand dogs, Slinky, Sadie, Roscoe, and Bailey.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, George and Wanetta Patre, his brother and sisters, William Patre, Linda Hirner, and Sandy Glass.

Jeff was raised a Presbyterian, as a child he attended First Presbyterian Church in Palmyra, Missouri. In the mid 2000's Jeff followed Jesus to a new church and became a member of Mission Hill Baptist Church in Palmyra, Missouri. When Jeff was younger and through the middle of his life he worked with his father, George Patre, in their plumbing and heating business, Patre Plumbing. He worked at Pal Bowl in Palmyra, Missouri in high school. His early adult career was spent working at Northeast Power in Palmyra. He also worked as a welder for Knapheide in West Quincy, Missouri. He worked with his brother-in-law, Mark Hirner as a Brick Layer in the Early 1990s through the mid 2000s.

Jeff loved to sing in the church choir. He also loved to talk with anyone who would listen he would always tell us he never met a stranger. He was also an Avid bowler with multiple honor scores. He was also willing and eager to help the younger generations learn to bowl.

Pallbearers are Karter Patre, Lane Phillips, Steve Reddick, Ron Andresen, Josh Lyon, Paul Hammel, Randy Corum and Erik Phillips.

Honorary Pallbearers Kamryn Patre, Dave Wilson, Chuck Mayrand, Patrick Smith, Konlyn Patre, Ryan Hammel, and all his bowling buddies and church choir family.

Memorial contributions may be made to his Grandkids Education Fund in c/o Connie Patre, Mission Hill Baptist Church or His Kids Daycare.
