It is with sorrow and gratitude that we mark the passing of Jerry Ray Gentry of Cedar Hill, MO — sorrow at the loss, gratitude for the life.

Gentry, Jerry Ray of Cedar Hill, Missouri, was born March 7, 1970 in St. Louis, Missouri to Donald Sr. and Clara (nee Law) Gentry and entered into rest Wednesday, April 22, 2026 in Cedar Hill, Missouri at the age of 56 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald Sr. and Clara (nee Law) Gentry.

He is survived by his siblings, Donald (Cinthia) Gentry Jr., and Sherry (Phillip) Zumwalt; long time girlfriend, Bridgett Menley; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Jerry was a kind and gentle soul whose greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. He had a warm heart, a caring spirit, and a way of making those around him feel loved and valued. Whether sharing stories, laughter, or simply being present, Jerry treasured every moment with those he held dear. His kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for his family will be remembered always, leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
