Kendall Cornelius Christian was born in Tacoma, Washington on May 26, 1956, to Randall Christian, Sr. and Lillian Jackson Christian. He went home to be with the Lord on April 30, 2026. Kendall was the proud father of one daughter, Lauren Robertson, whom he loved dearly. He grew up overseas due to his father's military career. He grew up in many places and experienced different cultures, which shaped his character and outlook on life. He attended Sam Houston High School and graduated. He finished his last four years of high school in San Antonio, Texas. He later attended Texas College in Tyler, Texas. After college, Kendall began working with Americo, a construction company. Due to hearing challenges and declining health, it became unsafe for him to continue in that field. He later returned to San Antonio and worked in the janitorial service industry. Kendall's brother Randall helped to take care of him for a couple of years in San Antonio, Texas. In 2020, as his health continued to decline, Kendall moved to Tyler, Texas to live with his sister, Debra, who lovingly cared for him. She provided compassion, support, and a home filled with love during this time. His final residence was Providence Park Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing, where he remained surrounded by care and support.Kendall enjoyed attending church with his sister on Sundays and spending time with others afterward-especially gathering with fellow residents to enjoy food, laughter, and football. He especially looked forward to Super Bowl celebrations, where joy and camaraderie filled the room. Kendall truly loved spending time with family and friends and created lasting memories with those around him.He leaves to cherish his memory his loving daughter, Lauren Robertson; his siblings, Randall Christian, Jr. (Lynn), Velma D. Spence (Reginald), Linda Simmons, Robert Wells, Debra Christian, Delilah Christian (Bo Kevin), Crystal Christian, Tameka Cooper, Charles Christian, and Kendra Christian; along with 32 nieces and nephews and 7 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Randall Christian, Sr.; his mother, Lillian Christian Prothro; and his brother, Rev.
