Leota Mae Hejl, 100, of St. Petersburg, Florida, peacefully passed away April 30, 2026. She was born on New Year's Day, January 1, 1926, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late John and Edna Svoboda. Leota will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Terri Guth and Kathy (David) Fox, as well as three grandchildren, Kristin Dorner and Jason (Susan) Pejsa, great-grandchildren Skye, Zoe and Love Pejsa, step-daughter Becky (Glenn) Cate and step-granddaughter Sarah Cate.
Per her wishes, no public ceremony will take place.
