It is with sorrow and gratitude that we mark the passing of Linda A. Tufts of Lancaster, OH — sorrow at the loss, gratitude for the life.

Linda A. Tufts

Linda A. Tufts, age 83, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away April 30, 2026, at the Arbors of Carol in Carrol, Ohio.

Linda was born October 3, 1942, in West Virginia. She loved watching Sunday morning church on TV and wrestling.

Surviving are her children, Cindy (Rex) Herring, James Tufts, and Tom (Renee) Tufts; grandchildren, Larissa, Adam, Megan, Nic, Ben, Andy, and Heaven; 9 great-grandchildren; and family friends, Byron Hosey and Joe Lambert.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Tufts; children, Don Tufts and Lisa Smith; grandson, little Jimmy; and numerous other children.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Rockbridge, Ohio.

Calling hours will be observed from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, and from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the funeral home prior to the service.

Brown Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the arrangements.
