Marta Salazar, of McKinney, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the age of 64, at her home in Melissa, Texas.
Born on February 9, 1962, in San Perlita, Texas, Marta was the beloved daughter of Jesus Salazar and Casimira Rodriguez.
Marta was a woman of quiet strength, grace, and deep devotion to her family. She carried herself with dignity and compassion, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. As a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she found her greatest joy in the lives of her children and grandchildren, whose love was the center of her world. Her presence brought comfort; her guidance brought strength, and her love will remain a lasting legacy.
She is survived by her son, Servando Villarreal (Ashley) of Melissa, Texas; her daughters, Vanessa Villarreal (Eli) of Allen, Texas, Samantha Villarreal of McKinney, Texas, and Priscilla Villarreal of Allen, Texas; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother; and eight sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Casimira Salazar, and her daughter, Amy Salazar.
Marta will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love, respect, and admiration by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends and family on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home, located at 2525 Central Expressway N. Frontage Road, Allen, Texas 75013. A service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., followed by interment at Ridgeview Memorial Park.
