It is with sorrow and gratitude that we mark the passing of Patrick A. Iverson of Vermillion, SD — sorrow at the loss, gratitude for the life.

Some lives speak quietly; his is one such story.

Some people pass through; others leave a path.

Patrick Arthur Iverson age 70, born September 7,1954 in Los Angeles, California. Passed away peacefully on April 23,2026 in Sioux Falls , South Dakota following a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

Patrick resided in Vermillion, So. Dak during his retirement. He was able to enjoy his last years spending time with his son Anthony (Carolyn) and his grandchildren. Mitchell, Jayden, and Blake Iverson. He was a beloved family man, known for his keen sense of humor and joy he found in playing golf, fishing, and attending sporting events.

Before he fell ill he lived a full life, attending Mahnomen, MN high school, attended Bemidji State College and Vo-Tech school for his electrician license. He spent many years working for Maytag and Polaris before he retired in 2023. In his spare time you could find him pursuing his passion of fishing or golfing. He held his own in both endeavors, bringing his one - of -a -kind energy and enthusiasm each day. He loved attending golf tournaments traveling to Mahnomen, Mn to unite with life long friends.

More than any one activity it was Patrick's unwavering dedication to his family and friends paired with his lighthearted, playful spirit, that will be cherished and remembered always. It was always known that if someone needed help he would give the shirt off his back. While his loss is felt deeply, Patrick would want everyone to remember the good times together.

Patrick was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Iverson, parents Marlys and Harold Iverson.

He is survived by his son Anthony Iverson ( Carolyn) Grandchildren; Mitchell, Jayden, and Blake Iverson; Zevin Lander, Addison Kochheise, Kaytlynn Ingraham.

Siblings: Suzanne Iverson Martinez( Mike), Kristine Iverson, Erik Iverson(Beth).

Nieces and Nephews: Kyle Steckbauer, Megan Steckbauer Bancroft, Grace Davig, Peter Davig, Henry Davig, Amanda Iverson & James Iverson.

Our family would like to thank the Doctors, nurses, and hospice for their comforting care. Pat will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life is planned for August 1, 2026.
