Roger Dean Whitt, 73, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2026. He was born in Beckley, West Virginia.Roger grew up in Brunswick, where he started his family. A proud member of the UAW, he dedicated over 30 years to General Motors, beginning and ending his career at the Parma Plant. During his years at the Oklahoma City Assembly Plant, he worked tirelessly for 16 years to provide for and support his family. He believed deeply in putting family first and encouraged his sons to grow, make their own choices, and follow their own paths with confidence. In his later years, he became a familiar and friendly presence at Herman’s Pub & Grub, where he enjoyed playing pool, laughing with friends, and connecting with his community. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, and a steadfast provider whose quiet strength and open heart left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
