It is with sorrow and gratitude that we mark the passing of Rosella Ann "Rose; Rosie" Norheim of Jamestown, ND — sorrow at the loss, gratitude for the life.
A life is more than dates on a stone; here is a small portion of her story.
The hands that raised children leave fingerprints on the future.
Rosella Ann Norheim, 67, Jamestown, North Dakota, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 23, 2026, in her home.
Rosella was born September 10, 1958, in Devils Lake, North Dakota. The daughter of Wayne and Audrey Kirkeby. She was known as "Rose" or "Rosie" to many. Rose attended school in Devils Lake until the family moved to Jamestown in 1968.
Rose was a waitress most of her life working at Big Jim's, The Truckstop, Pantry and lastly The Depot. She served her customers with the gift of gab, laughter, jokes, and just good conversations. She loved interacting with friends and family and meeting new people. She had a talent to sew, and her thumb was naturally green in the garden. But, when it was time to relax she couldn't pass up watching reruns of the "Big Bang Theory" and "Two Broke Girls" because they always made her laugh.
