It is with sorrow and gratitude that we mark the passing of Teresa Rembert of Mansfield, OH — sorrow at the loss, gratitude for the life.

Quiet kindness echoes longest.

Pastor Teresa Griffea Rembert passed away on April 24, 2026. Teresa was born on December 28, 1964 to the late Superintendent Givan Griffea and Mother Gloria Elizabeth Griffea. She was a former member of the Temple of Faith COGIC under the leadership of the late Pastor L.G. Maddox. Teresa received Christ at an early age. Teresa was also a member of Jesus of Nazarine COGIC under the leadership here parents, Superintendent G. Griffea and Mother G. Griffea. She graduated from Mansfield Senior High School, Class of 1983 and later attended Ashland Theological Seminary and later became a pastor. Teresa is preceded in death by her parents and a sibling. Teresa is survived by Two Sons: Dante Rembert of Mansfield, OH and Terence Rembert of Columbus, OH; Two Grandchildren; Two Sisters: Rayvonne (William) Brown of Mansfield, OH and Teresa Saunders of Columbus, OH; Brother: R. Baxter of Columbus, OH; God-Sister: Debbie Jackson of Mansfield, OH; God-Brother: Timothy Feagin of Mansfield, OH; Nephew: Michael Griffea, Sr.; Special Niece: Gwen Brown; Special Nephew: Kamarion Paige; Best Friends: Gay Holmes Carter of Akron, OH and Pastor Landareece Brown of Columbus, OH: Four Great-Nephews: Michael Griffea, Jr. Silas Griffea, Khiree Windham, Kayden Windham and a host of extended family and friends. Teresa will be remembered by all of those who knew and loved her.
