It is with sorrow and gratitude that we mark the passing of William Charles “Bill” Eddleman of Whitmore Lake, MI — sorrow at the loss, gratitude for the life.

These are the contours of a life that meant a great deal to many.

What was given remains, even when the giver is gone.

Coburntown: William Charles "Bill" Eddleman, 66, formerly of Coburntown, the third child of eight, died in Whitmore Lake, MI on May 2, 2026.

He was born in Hancock on September 22, 1959, a son of Dean O. and Janet (Coon) Eddleman. He was employed for many years at H. B. Enterprises as a powder coater.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Flora (Coon) Eddleman. He is survived by his father, Dean Eddelman of Laurium, and by his brothers and sisters James, John, Stephen, Michael (Sandy), Jeanie, Marvin, and Nancy. Also surviving are 13 nieces and nephews, 16 great-nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins. A special mention to friends Steve Marsh, Herb Blattenberger, and Dave "Big Dave" Schwall.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M Friday at Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock, Section 14, with Rev. Father Bernard to officiate. The O'Neill-Dennis Funeral Home of Hancock is assisting with the arrangements. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be directed to the O'Neill-Dennis Funeral Home, 214 Hancock Avenue, Hancock, MI 49930.
