It is with sorrow and gratitude that we mark the passing of Willie Ray Johnson of Harriman, TN — sorrow at the loss, gratitude for the life.

Behind every name is a life, and behind every life are the people who loved it.

Willie spent his working life as ['Brick Mason for serval years'] and held deeply to the Baptist faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.

The traditions Willie loved will continue to hold those he loved.

Mr. Willie Ray Johnson, age 66, of Harriman, passed away on Tuesday May 5, 2026, at Wood Village in Sweetwater. He worked as a Brick Mason for serval years. He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles & Mammie Johnson. Two sisters: Linda Sue Johnson and Shelia Hood. He is survived by his sister: Geneva Murray. Along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Friday May 8, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman. Graveside services will follow in Mt Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Davis Funeral Home in Harriman and is honored to serve the family of Mr. Willie Ray Johnson.
