James spent his working life as ['the glass industry with the title of Production Supervisor in Saugus'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.

After graduating from high school he went to work sweeping floors in a glass factory. He retired from the glass industry with the title of Production Supervisor in Saugus, CA. In 1978, the family moved to Rye, CO where he found his heaven on earth. Jim loved his family loved time spent with his wife, son, daughter and grandchildren. He enjoyed the huge cook-outs for family and friends at the Rye house.

He loved hunting, fishing, planting large gardens and caring for the 13 acres of land in Rye, going to Cripple Creek and was an avid Los Angeles Dodgers fan.
