Justin E. Rainbolt, 48, of Deer Park, Texas, passed away on April 24, 2026.
He was born on June 23, 1977, in Lafayette, Louisiana, to Michael Floyd and Loretta Ann (Williams Hebert) Rainbolt. Justin graduated from Lincoln Tech in Grand Prairie, Texas, and soon after answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Army. He proudly served three tours in Iraq and was decorated for his acts of bravery, embodying courage and dedication throughout his military career.
Justin was married to Rachel Rene Rainbolt and was the proud father of two sons, Cadence Ray Rainbolt and Mason Rittenhouse. He was a loving son, a loyal brother, and a brave soldier whose strength and spirit touched many lives.
Known for his free spirit and independent nature, Justin was driven to achieve his goals and accepted others wholeheartedly for who they were. In his youth, he played guard for the Amarillo High Sandies, reflecting his love of teamwork and athletics. He remained an avid sports fan throughout his life, especially enjoying hockey and cheering on the Dallas Stars. Justin had a deep love for music, dance, and the arts. He especially enjoyed karaoke, often singing songs by Pearl Jam and The Doors, sharing laughter and joy with those around him. His kindness, warmth, and genuine love for others left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He also shared a special bond with his beloved service dog, Winston, who was a constant companion and source of comfort.
Justin E. Rainbolt will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his bravery, compassion, and the light he brought into the lives of others.
Justin is survived by his wife, Rachel Rene Rainbolt of Houston, Texas; son, Cadence Rainbolt of Houston, Texas; son, Mason Rittenhouse of Amarillo, Texas; parents, Michael and Loretta Rainbolt of Stonebluff, Oklahoma; sister, Shauntel Eisenhauer and husband, Jeremiah of Virginia Beach, Virginia; uncle, Markham Rainbolt of Los Alamos, New Mexico; aunt, Cindy Hebert; and numerous other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Shawn Rainbolt.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/justin-e-rainbolt.
Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park following the service.
