After a life of love and quiet grace, Kimberly Ann Howard of St. Louis, MO has passed.

These are the contours of a life that meant a great deal to many.

The work of a parent is rarely finished — it lives on in the children she loved.

Kimberly Ann Howard passed away, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and will miss her dearly. She was the beloved widow of Lonnie Steve Howard and devoted much of her life to her family and the simple joys that brought her happiness.

Kimberly is survived by her three children: Shannon and spouse Tony Young of Swansea, Illinois; Brett Masterson of Chicago, Illinois; and R.J. And spouse Lee Ann Masterson of Center, Texas. She was a proud grandmother to Andrew Campbell, Dustin Campbell, and Erica Campbell, all of Swansea, Illinois, and a cherished great-grandmother to Tarot of Swansea, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeanne Alice Lewis Rystrom and Clayton Arthur Rystrom Jr.; her sister, Marcie Allbritton; and her brother, Dr. Eric Rystrom.

Kimberly had a deep love for animals, especially her loyal dog, Bruiser, who brought her constant companionship and joy. She was a voracious reader and took great comfort in books throughout her life. Known for her generous heart, she made sure her pets were always well cared for-often jokingly said to be fed better than most people. She found peace and fulfillment in gardening, particularly tending to her flowers. Kimberly attended Texas A&M University and later became a poultry farmer in Center, Texas, alongside her husband, Steve Howard.

She will be remembered for her love of family and the quiet happiness she found in life's simple pleasures. Kimberly's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
