It is with sorrow and gratitude that we mark the passing of Linda "Duffy" D. Dill, 74, — sorrow at the loss, gratitude for the life.
These few paragraphs cannot hold a life, but they may carry a memory.
Linda entered this world in 1951 — the start of a journey that would span 75 years.
Linda held deeply to the Methodist faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.
The traditions Linda loved will continue to hold those she loved.
Linda Darlene "Duffy" Dill, 74, of Shrewsbury, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at York Hospital.Born on November 21, 1951, Linda was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Mary Elizabeth (Cox) Baker.Duffy was a homemaker as well as a housekeeper for many years. She loved shopping at Boscov's and hanging out at the mall spending time with her grandchildren. In her free time, she also enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and America's Funniest Home Videos, sitting on her porch enjoying the beauty of nature, and designing flower arrangements. Most of all, Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her sister's cats.Linda is survived by her son, William B. Dill, Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Felton, as well as one granddaughter, Rachel Dill, and three great-grandchildren, Kilah, Kayden and Jaxson. Duffy also leaves behind three siblings, John Baker, Rose Yetter, and Jo Ann Mackert, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services were private per Linda's wishes.
