Linda held deeply to the Baptist faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.

Some find their compass in faith. Linda was among them.

Linda Ann Murrell, 77, of Conway, South Carolina, went to be

with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 4, 2026.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday,

May 7, 2026, at Kingston Baptist Church, with visitation one

hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pastor Alan Goodman and Pastor Bill Kunkle will be officiating.

Linda was born in Conway, South Carolina, the daughter of the late

Wilson Joseph Holt and Mary Louise Chestnut. She was a faithful

charter member of Kingston Baptist Church. Linda found great joy

in tending to her flowers and gardening, mountain trips,and she deeply loved her family.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, George Murrell;

her two children, Russell (Cori) Murrell and Denise Murrell; her grandchildren,

Kandra (John) Hucks and Dylan Murrell; and her great-grandchildren,

Rayleigh Georgia Bradshaw and Evan Murrell, as well as one unborn

great-grandchild, Rynlee Ann Hucks, whom she was eagerly anticipating.

She is also survived by her special sister, Sherrie (Randy) Bane, along

with several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
