After a life of love and quiet grace, Lois A. Davenport of Granby, NY has passed.

The chapters of her life were many; these are some of them.

Love, when given fully, leaves its mark on every life it touches.

Lois A. Davenport (Rogers,) of Granby, NY; passed away peacefully Monday, April 27 th, 2026; at the age of ninety-one.

Lois will be forever loved and missed by her family, including her son Gary (Deb) Davenport, and her four grandchildren, Jennifer Davenport (Jared Klebanoff), Jacob Davenport, Chrissy Cooper, and Jeremy (Becky) Chetney; seven great grandchildren, Max, Madeleine, Brian, Brandon, Paul, Chad, and Adam; along with her nieces and nephews; and many loving family members and friends.

She is predeceased by her dear parents Theodore and Gertrude (Lash) Rogers, her five siblings, her loving husband of 53 years, Ivan Davenport, and her son Danny Davenport.

Lois was a lifelong resident of Granby, NY and was active in her community as a Cody Volunteer Fire Department Women's Auxiliary member and Granby Town election volunteer. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family and doted on her great grandchildren. Lois will be remembered for her kindness, dry sense of humor, and fierce love for her family.

There will be a Graveside Service held at the convenience of the family.

There will be no Calling Hours.

Burial was held Friday privately at Jacksonville Cemetery, Lysander, NY.

The Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton, NY 13069 has care of the arrangements.
