After a life of love and quiet grace, Malcolm Kelly Teague of Charlotte, NC has passed.
Here is what we wish the world to know of Malcolm.
Malcolm spent his working life as ['Spectrum Financial Systems'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.
It is in the silence afterward that we hear how loud a life was.
Malcolm Kelly Teague, nicknamed Bones, of Charlotte NC died at age 72, Wednesday April 29, 2026 at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. Some of his friends went by Malcolm and some of his friends and family went by Kelly. He graduated from Brevard High School and went to WCU for one semester.
Malcolm Kelly Teague was born on May 8, 1953, in Brevard, NC and eventually moved to Charlotte, NC. He worked for Spectrum Financial Systems, Inc., Steele Services and Wittenbach Business Systems, Inc. as a Lead Installer of Bank Systems. He installed Bank security systems, ATM's, ATM buildings, safe's, safe deposit boxes and anything else that needed to be done in the bank. He traveled the whole East coast doing his jobs.
His motto was, always be positive in which he always was. Also, no one tells me what to do. He had a great sense of humor and a beautiful smile.
His favorite activities were fishing, camping, hunting and building things with wood. His favorite spots to go on vacation with his wife Jill were Cape Lookout NC, Cherokee NC, Gatlinburg Tenn., Brevard NC, Hendersonville NC, Wilmington NC, Wrightsville Beach NC and Litchfield SC.
Malcolm Kelly Teague was preceded in death by his father Billy H. Teague Sr., mother Lois Breedlove Teague, brother Shannon Teague, brother Bill Teague and son Casey Paul Teague.
Survivors are his wife Jill Cossart Teague, son, Kelsey Ray Christenbury, granddaughter Luna Noelle Teague and Luna's mother Ali Robbins. Sisters Pat Tracy and husband Tom, Angie Johnson and husband Charles, and Lisa Holland and husband Charles. Mother-in-law Jean Nelson Cossart, Brother in-laws Ray Cossart, Mark Cossart and wife Trish, sister in-laws Beth Cossart and partner Ian Mcpherson and Lynn Stogner. He had several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
