After a life of love and quiet grace, Mark Theodore Journey of Brookhaven, PA has passed.

What remains is what was loved.

Mark T. Journey, 74, passed away on May 2, 2026. Born and raised in Brookhaven, he moved down to Florida, and after many years he returned to his home roots of Brookhaven. Mark was a retired LPN and home health care aid, giving support and compassion to his patients. In his youth he marched and performed with the Blue Rocks drum and bugle Corp as a cornet player. He was a talented artist who enjoyed making and viewing pottery. He enjoyed Steely Dan music, spending time with Carol, and hanging out with his nephew.

He was predeceased by his parents Charles D. and Josephine Journey and his brother Charles Journey Sr.

He is survived by his loving companion Carol Sewell; his sister Joellen Street (late Bob Street); Tigy the cat; two nieces Shannon Zarnowski (Gary) and Kim Street; two nephews CJ and Greg Journey; three great nephews, one great niece, one great-great nephew and one great-great niece.
