After a life of love and quiet grace, Marsha Gwyndolin Fregia of Batson, TX has passed.

Behind every name is a life, and behind every life are the people who loved it.

Grief is love with nowhere left to go.

Marsha Gwyndolin Fregia, born Marsha Gwyndolin Love on April 6, 1946, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026, surrounded by the love she spent a lifetime giving to others. She was born to Armonice Vera Eastham and Gilston "Steve" Love, and from an early age, she carried a strength and spirit that would define the rest of her life.

Marsha often shared stories of her youth-playing sports and walking home in the dark from West Hardin School, running the entire way without ever slowing down. That determination stayed with her always. At just 18 years old, she met and married the love of her life, Kenneth E. Fregia Sr. Together, they built a strong and lasting life centered around family.

She was a devoted mother to her two sons, Kenny and Tony, never missing a game, a moment, or an opportunity to show up for them. That same unwavering love carried through to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Marsha had a deep love for gardening, flowers, and anything that sparkled. If it had a little shine or "bling," she was drawn to it. She loved Bath & Body Works, sewing, crafts, and shoe shopping.

She was strong-willed, fearless, and never one to back down. Marsha spoke her mind, stood her ground, and lived life on her own terms. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and loyalty that will carry on through all who knew her.

Marsha is survived by her sons, Kenny (Donna) Fregia and Tony (Jana) Fregia; her brother, Martin Blanchard (Elaine); her sister s, Elaine Merrill and Alice Love; her grandchildren, Kade (Ashtyn) Fregia, Allie (Austin) Laird, Kristen (Patrick) Colleps, Kyle (Alexis) Fregia, Hannah, and Kody Fregia, LaMarr (Sharise) Hosford, and Christina (Ashton) Hunter; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Kenli, Callie, Easton, Connor, Owen, Amelia, Lanora, Dalaine, Jaiden, Avery, Jaxon, and Madison.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth E. Fregia Sr., and her parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, between 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Faith and Family Funeral Home in Batson, Texas. Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 am on Friday May 08, 2026, at Faith and Family Funeral Services with Pastor Paul Fregia officiating. Burial will follow to Guedry cemetery in Batson, Texas.
