He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Kristen Pone Dukes, of the home; and his father, Marquise Dukes, of Fayetteville, NC.
He is the beloved grandson of his maternal grandparents, The Honorable Edward and Beverly Pone of Grays Creek, NC; and his paternal grandparents, Lora Johnson and Mike (Vicki) Dukes, both of Fayetteville, NC.
He is also survived by his maternal uncle and aunt, Jared (Charnel) Pone of Holly Springs, NC; his paternal aunt and uncle Crystal (Corey) Robinson of Raeford, NC; and his first cousins Na'Omiy Robinson, Matthieu Robinson, Jeshua Robinson and Christian Pone. Elias also leaves behind his Godmother, Kevona Bethune, his Godfather, Morris Braxton, Jr.; his Godsiblings, Lola Jones, Morris III, Melody, Mykel, Migel, and Myron Braxton; two teachers who were committed to supporting him through this journey, Ms. Allison Phipps and Ms. Leah Skarie and his best friend, Henry Bartos.
Special neighbor and honorary grandfather, Mr. David Messer ("Mr. Dave"), who faithfully cared for both Elias and his mother.
He also leaves behind a host of extended family members, relatives, and friends who were blessed to know him and will continue to carry his light forward.
