Morris Lee Boyett, Jr. of Paris, Tennessee, passed away Monday, May 4, 2026 at his residence. His memorial celebration of life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Dr. Jonathan Smith of Fairview Baptist Church officiating.Visitation with the family is planned on Saturday after 11:00 A.M. until time of service.Morris Lee Boyett, Jr. was born August 30, 1968 in Osceola, Arkansas to Morris Lee Boyett and to Sherry Peridore Boyett, both of Paris. He is survived by his son, Gunner Boyett, of Gallatin, Tennessee; by sisters, Shawna (William) Ellis and Andrea (Mike) Azbell; nephews, Brad (Shelby) Azbell and Brennen Azbell; niece, Gail (Davis) Kinsey, all of Paris; also by aunts, uncles, great nieces, great nephews, numerous cousins, other family members and friends.Morris was a movie buff, enjoying gaming, reading and trivia. He was also a collector of baseball cards and comic books.
