Paul D. Weber, aged 81, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026, in Hendersonville, NC. Born on June 15, 1944, in Chicago, IL, Paul lived a life full of diverse experiences and cherished moments.
Throughout his career, Paul dedicated himself to various professions. He began as a 5th-grade teacher, where he inspired young minds with his passion for learning. Later, he pursued a career as a Certified Welder, demonstrating his skill and precision in the trade. Paul also worked as a Chevrolet Mechanic, where he applied his mechanical expertise and love for automobiles.
Paul had a zest for life that was evident in his interests. He was an avid lover of live music, often attending concerts and performances that brought joy to his heart. His adventurous spirit led him to travel extensively, achieving the remarkable feat of visiting all 50 states.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Eleanor Weber. Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Linda K. Weber, who was his steadfast companion and partner in life's journey. He leaves behind his son, Lucas Weber and wife, Brunilda, of Asheville, NC, and two grandchildren, Penelope Weber and Sebastian Weber, who were the light of his life. Paul is also survived by his two sisters, Faith Newberg of Stevensville, MI, and Betty Pettikas of Murfreesboro, TN, as well as his brother, Philip Weber of Mills River, NC.
A service to honor Paul's life will be held at a later date. His family and friends will gather to celebrate the memories and legacy of a man who touched many lives with his kindness, and unwavering love.
Paul will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he loved.
