Our pretty little angel has gone home to be with our Lord and Savior, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and unforgettable warmth.Stormy was a gentle, kind, and deeply loving soul whose light touched more lives than words can fully express. Everyone who had the privilege of knowing her could attest to the special place she held in the hearts of her family and friends. As everyone in the family will fondly recall, she was the favorite sibling, a cherished treasure whose beautiful smiles and sweetness brought comfort and joy to those around her. The warmth of her loving spirit will remain forever imprinted in the hearts of all who loved her.A talented artist, Stormy’s creativity knew no bounds—her specialty was duct tape, she was the duct tape diva! From intricate portraits to unique wallets and even mended license plates, she crafted masterpieces that reflected her remarkable imagination and skill. Her artistic gifts will stand as lasting reminders of her vibrant and inventive nature.Stormy’s personality shone brightly in the simple moments of daily life. She had an endearing love for watching Wheel of Fortune, even leaving her room just to enjoy the show alongside her family. Despite never wanting children herself, she somehow embraced the role of being the "best" aunt with remarkable ease—managing to succeed without ever changing a diaper! Her sleepwalking escapades and unique way of turning every one-syllable word into two or three with a whiney groan will be fondly missed and often retold, capturing the essence of her playful and spirited nature.She is lovingly remembered by her devoted parents, William and Debra Fishburn; her brothers John Zanzig, Dan Fishburn, Brian Highlander, Jaylyn Washington, Kendall Fishburn, and Tony Fishburn; her sisters Jennifer Favesib Mahfood and Kat Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews who adored their aunt as well as Shianne Fishburn.The community is invited to honor Stormy’s memory at the Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas, with a visitation on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on, Friday, May 8, 2026, at 1:00 PM. The service will be held at the same location, located at 401 N Center Street, Gladewater, TX 75647. Following the funeral, interment will take place at Gladewater Memorial Park.Stormy Elizabeth Fishburn’s spirit remains a guiding light—a testament to love, creativity, and the joyful memories that will forever live on in her family’s hearts. Her legacy is one of kindness, laughter, and artistry, and she will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her. May she rest in peace, embraced by the love of those beyond this world.Forever Our Sweet StormyThe hole this has left in our hearts is an unbearable pain, yet we hold onto our faith and trust in the Lord, believing there is a purpose beyond what we can understand.
