After a life of love and quiet grace, Timothy Doyle "Tim" Berry of Fort Oglethorpe, GA has passed.

What follows is not the whole story, but a thread of it.

The heart keeps better records than the calendar.

Timothy "Tim" Doyle Berry, age 63, of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 4, 2026. He was born in 1962 to the late James "Doyle" Berry and Bonnie Faye Wilson. Tim was of the Christian faith, lifelong resident of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia and graduated from Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School class of 1980. He was a member of Tompkins Lodge No 466 F & AM in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia as well as the Shriners and Scottish Rite.

Tim's love for motors began at a young age when his father taught him how to rebuild a carburetor. While still in high school, he began working at Hassell Auto Parts before joining his father at Doyle's Alignment during his teenage years. He later worked in maintenance at Olan Mills for several years, followed by a short time at Flav-O-Rich Dairies, before returning to Doyle's Alignment in 1987 to work alongside his father. After many years of working together, Tim took over the family business in July of 1996. He continued to operate Doyle's Alignment with dedication and pride, even through health challenges in recent years. His legacy of service to the community will live on, as his family continues to operate the business.

Outside of work, Tim enjoyed spending time with family and friends on the lake, where he loved water skiing and wakeboarding. He was a board member of the Chattanooga Water Ski Club. He also enjoyed snow skiing with his son, Daniel. Throughout his life, Tim had a passion for motorsports, including motorcycle riding, drag racing, enduro racing, and dirt bike racing.

Along with his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his sister, Tammie Berry and his grandparents, Roxie and Robert Wilson and John and Rosa Berry.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Pam Evans Berry; their son, Daniel (Krystal) Berry; sister-in-law, Dawn (Tim) Watts; his niece and nephews, Malory and Blake Watts and Cory and Kane Underdown; as well as extended family, Robin and Aimie Bates, Scott and Carla Hammond, Brian and Amy Hubbard, Junior McDonald, Chris and Percilla Phillips, Randy Whitton, Frank and Rachel Bilbrey, Andy and Tami Downs, as well as many friends from his Harley rides, Chattanooga Ski Club, and Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School class mates.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Homes, with Pastor Kenny Gray officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society (https://donate.cancer.org) or TC Thompson Children Hospital. An online guestbook is available at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com. Arrangements by W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
