Victoria Salgado Pitman, 97, died Saturday, May 2, 2026. Visitation will be 9 AM until 9 PM Wednesday with a prayer service at 7 PM at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral service will be 10 AM Thursday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Mount Olive Cemetery.
Victoria was born on March 6, 1929 in Lockhart, TX. She lived most of her life in Big Spring. She was a member of Lighthouse Restoration Center.
Victoria was homemaker, also worked in housekeeping at motels. She loved the Lord & her church. She especially loved gospel music.
Victoria is survived by her son: Frank Garza of Big Spring, TX; 2 daughters: Mary Lou Salgado of Maryville, CA & Irene Salgado of Yuba City, CA; and several grandchildren & great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents: Matthew & Agustina Rodriguez; her husbands: Alfredo Salgado & Albert Pitman; 1 son: Richard Salgado; 2 daughters: Joann Salgado & Vicky Ann Salgado; 1 brother: Patrick Rodriguez; 2 sisters: Josephine Rodriguez & Nina Lopez.
