After a life of love and quiet grace, Vivian Elizabeth Grigho of Newnan, GA has passed.
Behind every name is a life, and behind every life are the people who loved it.
Vivian spent her working life as ['Bank of America and was a member of Providence Baptist Church'] and held deeply to the Baptist faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.
Those who live by belief leave a different kind of mark.
Vivian Elizabeth Grigho, 90, of Newnan, GA, passed away at her residence on Friday, May 1, 2026. Born in Sarasota, Florida, on October 23, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Ham and the late Lillian Elizabeth (Clark) Ham. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Yechovh Grigho; and her sons, Clark Eugene Spence and Michael A. Spence, Jr.
Vivian lived all over the world while her first husband was in the military. She especially enjoyed living in Alaska, Texas, and California before moving to Newnan. Vivian enjoyed shopping, going out to eat after Jacob passed away, going to the Coweta Senior Center, and working in her yard during her younger years.
Vivian and Jacob loved cooking and infusing their cooking with his mother's Lebanese recipes. She also loved her cat, Charlie, who was great company after Jacob's death. Vivian retired from Bank of America and was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
A celebration of Vivian's life will be on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home & Crematory, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, with Rev. Ken Norton officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 - 2 pm on Tuesday prior to the service. Burial will be private on Friday.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Toni Spence, the daughter she never had; neice, Deborah H. Mistretta of Brooksville, FL; nephew, Tommy Ham (Nancy) of Lake Mary, FL; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchildren; and several cousins.
In leiu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Vivian's memory to Providence Baptist Church, 918 Providence Church Rd., Newnan, GA 30263. Conodolences may also be expressed to the family online at www.mckoon.com.
