William Paul Nakutis, 63,, has passed away, leaving behind a family and community who loved him dearly.

Born in 1962, William began a life that would touch many along the way.

Time has its way of binding people together.

William Paul Nakutis Jr., of Hubert, North Carolina, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on July 11, 1962, in New Eagle, Pennsylvania, the son of William Paul Nakutis Sr. and Tanis Rae Nakutis.William was a devoted man of God whose warmth, strength, and sense of humor touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Tanis Rae Nakutis and William Paul Nakutis Sr.; his wife, Therese "Terry" Nakutis ; his son, William "Billy" Nakutis; his daughter, Megan Nakutis; his sister, Nancy Hunyady Rogers; "Molly Girl" his fur-ever companion and other loved ones who welcomed him home.William is survived by his loving sons, Chad (Victoria) Pierce and Nathaniel (Desiree)Nakutis. He was a proud and cherished grandfather to Langdon, Liam, Ian, Gabrielle, and Luella, who brought him immense joy.He is also survived by his siblings: brothers Dennis (Cindy) Nakutis and Tim (Kelly) Nakutis; sisters Joanne Nakutis, Margie (Raymond) Hunyady, and Janis Nakutis; and his dear friend, Tina Kelly.William was a man who could make anyone smile. His faith guided his life, and his love for his family ran deep and fierce. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his strength, and the way he made those around him feel valued and loved.His legacy lives on through his family, who will carry forward his love, his faith, and the light he brought into their lives.He will be remembered for his signature saying, "Love you, mean it. Later."A celebration of life will be held at a later date, and all who knew and loved him are welcome to join in remembering the joy he brought to others.
