Wilma Edith Rice, the daughter of the late George King and Anna Skidmore King, was born on July 29, 1940, in Murphysboro, IL.
On January 7, 1960, in Perry, OK, she was united in marriage to Lester Lee Roger "Red" Rice. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2014.
Mrs. Rice died Thursday, April 30, 2026, in Poplar Bluff, MO, at the age of 85 years, 9 months and 1 day.
She is survived by 3 sons, Lester Lee Rice, Jr. of Clarkton, MO, Roger Rice of Grandin, MO and Rodney Rice of Clarkton; 1 sister, Shelby McBride of Ava, IL; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Debbie Rice.
A visitation will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, MO. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 P.M., in the chapel, with Reverend Stephen Watkins officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Clarkton.
