Olga Lidia Julian De Valdez of Altus, OK has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved her.
Below, a small portrait of a life that will not soon be forgotten.
We measure lives in love, not minutes.
Olga Lidia (Carrillo) Julian De Valdez went to her Heavenly home on May 4, 2026. She was born on August 7, 1975, in Mexico City, Mexico, to Fernando Julian-Arroyo and Maria Antonieta Carrillo De Julian. Olga attended Altus High School, where she proudly graduated, and later continued her education at Western Oklahoma State College, earning her associate’s degree. In 2005, Olga met the love of her life, Jose Cruz Valdez, and in May of 2015, they were united in marriage. Together, they shared 21 years filled with love, laughter, and a deep devotion to one another.Olga was a devoted homemaker who found great joy in making her house a home. She loved shopping at Hobby Lobby, always searching for the next beautiful decoration to add to her collection. There was always room for “just one more,” and Jose happily indulged her, knowing how much it brought her joy. Olga also enjoyed trying her hand at crafts inspired by her Hobby Lobby finds, and her home stands as a testament to many lovingly started projects—though they were not always finished. To be around Olga was to be in good company. She carried a childlike spirit that could brighten any room and lift the hearts of those around her. She loved watching cartoons, especially The Lorax and Hotel Transylvania, which brought her comfort and happiness.Olga was preceded in death by her brother, Fernando Julian. Those left to honor her memory include her beloved husband, Jose; her parents; her son, Jose Lopez; her daughter, Olga Lopez and her husband, Felix; her three brothers, Jose Alfredo Julian, Jose Luis Julian, and Moises Julian; her sister, Gaby Julian and her husband, Luis Garcia; as well as many relatives and friends who will forever hold her dear in their hearts. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Kincannon Funeral Home.
