Patricia Louise Ghazvini of Yonkers, NY, has passed away, leaving behind a family and community who loved her dearly.

What you read below is one part of a life lived with quiet purpose.

Some legacies are not written; they walk the earth, named after those who came before.

Patricia Louise (Carmody) Ghazvini passed away leaving behind a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Born in New York City and raised in the Bronx, Patricia was the youngest daughter of Patrick and Ruth Carmody. She carried with her the strength, warmth, and spirit of her roots every day of her life.

Patricia was a proud graduate of St. John's School and Blessed Sacrament High School. She went on to build a career that reflected both her intelligence and adaptability, working at Miss Universe, Business Insurance, and ultimately retiring from Pensions and Investments. In her retirement, she embraced what mattered most, her family.

A devoted and loving mother, Patricia is survived by her children, Christopher Boylan and Sara Ghazvini (Christopher Moffa). Her ability to maintain deep, meaningful relationships extended beyond traditional boundaries as she remained close with her children's fathers, Peter Boylan and Gus Ghazvini, reflecting her unwavering commitment to family in all its forms.

She is also survived by her loving sister Lynn Smith (Pete), her nephew Michael Salerno (Dana), their children Dylan and Taylor, her niece Joanna Cioffi (Michael), daughter Bianca and niece Lisa Selca (John) their children Kaleb and Scarlett. Her family was her foundation and she cherished each and every one of them deeply.

But above all else, Patricia's heart belonged to her "grands", Michael, Noah, and Naomi, who brought her a joy that was limitless and unconditional. Being their grandmother was her greatest pride and her truest happiness. She found her joy in time spent with her grandchildren, creating memories filled with laughter, warmth, and love that will live on forever.

Affectionately known as "Party Pat" or "rock and roll mom", she lived life unapologetically and on her own terms. A true free spirit, she embraced her inner hippie, danced to the beat of her own drum, and filled her life with music, travel, and adventure. She loved rock and roll concerts, exploring the world, and making memories wherever she went. Her energy, laughter, and zest for life were infectious to everyone lucky enough to know her.

Her family takes comfort in imagining her now jamming out with her favorite rock stars, surrounded by legends, raising a Schaefer or a Guinness (with ice and a straw), exactly the way she liked it.

Patricia's love was immeasurable, her spirit unforgettable, and her legacy will be everlasting
