Phyllis Anthony of Pottstown, PA has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved her.

Some lives speak quietly; her is one such story.

Some people pass through; others leave a path.

Phyllis (Casale) Anthony, 90, of Pottstown, wife of the late Kenneth M. Anthony, passed away Wednesday April 29, 2026.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Genaro and Angelina (Piccolo) Casale.

Phyllis' family was her greatest pride and joy. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, bowling, gardening, attending bible study, and spending time with friends and family. Phyllis was a devoted Christian and a long time member of St. Aloysius Parish in Pottstown.

Surviving is her daughter Helen M. Waldt wife of Dave; son Ken M. Anthony II husband of Grace; grandchildren Hannah, Darren, Julian, Sergio husband of Melinda, Ashley, Michael, and Sabrina; great grandchildren Jax, Madeleine, and Eliana; sisters Bella Bragalone, Maria Wahler, Tina Casale, and Catherine Eisner; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her grandson, Jason Waldt.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday May 8, 2026 at 11:30 AM at St. Aloysius Church, 223 Beech St., Pottstown, PA 19464. Burial will follow at St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Pottstown. Visitation will be held Friday from 10:00-11:15 AM at the church gathering center.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phyllis' memory to St. Aloysius Church, 223 Beech St., Pottstown, PA 19464.
