Anthony Vincent ' Tony ' Leonis

September 30, 1947 - April 30, 2026

It is with deep sorrow and immense love that we mourn the loss and passing of Anthony Vincent " Tony " Leonis.

Anthony was borne to parents Jennie Gonzalez and Anthony L. (Tony) Leonis on September 30, 1947, in San Jose, California. Anthony was raised and educated in San Jose, earning his bachelor's degree from San Jose State University prior to graduating from Hasting's School of Law with an emphasis and specialty interest in Arbitration and Mediation. Anthony continued to earn additional accreditations and certifications from Pepperdine University and Lincoln Law School.

Anthony relocated to Bakersfield, California to become one of the leading Arbitrators representing numerous school districts and educational institutions throughout California.

Anthony is preceded by both of his parents, Jennie and Tony Leonis and one brother, Robert " Bob " Leonis.

Although Anthony made many lifelong friends and had a deep passion for hunting, fishing, exotic cars and antiques, he is survived by his life's greatest pride and deepest love, his son Anthony Lucas Leonis (fiancé Cierra Kraft), his stepdaughter Breanne Hughes, companion and devoted care provider Dawn M. Leonis, sisters Jean, Diana " Mona " ( sp.Mike ), Jennie, brother Jimmy Leonis, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held by invitation only.
