Benton R Hart, 98, of Youngwood, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. He was born on April 22, 1928, in Morgantown, WV., the son of the late Leslie and Eda (Blosser) Hart. Benton was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was a member of the Youngwood VFW Post #211, the Youngwood A&B Club, the Hempfield Hunt Club, the Roosevelt Club, the South Greensburg American Legion, the East Huntingdon Fireman's Club and the former L.O.O.M #23, in Youngwood. Benton is survived by his loving wife, Norma Jean (Larry) Hart, his children, Richard Larry Hart, of Youngwood, and Jeffrey Lee Hart, and his wife, Lori Ann, of Youngwood. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Leighann Jean Hart and Anthony Michael Hart. Services and burial are private. The family suggests memorial donations be made to Bridges Hospice, 4130 Monroeville Blvd., Monroeville, Pa. 15146
