With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Charles Vorderer of Algonquin, IL.
The chapters of his life were many; these are some of them.
Charles spent his working life as ['distribution designer and telephone Installer'] and held deeply to the Catholic faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.
The lessons of service stay, even when the years move on.
Charles Vorderer of Crystal Lake passed away surrounded by his loving family May 3, 2026 in Huntley. Born February 10, 1951 in Chicago to the late Lawrence and Anna Vorderer. Beloved husband of 51 years to Michelle Vorderer (nee Cambata); loving father to Charles (Theresa) Vorderer and Michael (Madonna) Vorderer; caring grandfather to Brendan, Genevieve and Sophia; fond brother to Henry (Christine) and Larry (June), Charles also leaves behind a loving friend and caregiver Sandra Valle.
Charles bravely served in the United States Army and is a courageous Vietnam war Veteran. He earned a bachelors degree in business and worked as a distribution designer and telephone Installer, and was a member of the local 134 I.B.E.W.
Charles had a great sense of humor, his jokes and quick wit will be greatly missed. He was a wonderful, caring and loving man who was loved by all who knew him.
