Claire Librizzi, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026, in Cranford, New Jersey, at the age of 94. Born on August 28, 1931, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Claire's life was marked by kindness, generosity, and a deep love for her family. She was the daughter of the late James and Susan (Rotolo) Demyen and was predeceased by Joseph Librizzi, her beloved husband of 17 years, and her sister Betty. Throughout her life, Claire found joy in simple pleasures such as reading, bowling, and spending time with friends, enjoying clubs, trips, and activities. Known for her caring nature and willingness to help others, she was deeply loved and respected by all who knew her. Her family remained the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Claire is survived by her daughters, Joanne Ripley and her husband Wayne, Carol Mola and her husband Ronnie. She is also remembered by her brother Jim and his wife Elaine; grandson Joseph; nieces and nephews, Jimmy, Caren, and Chris. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Halpin - Bitecola Brookdale Funeral and Cremation Service, located at 1284 Broad Street, Bloomfield, New Jersey. A burial service will follow on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, New Jersey. All who wish to travel in procession to the cemetery, please meet at Halpin -Bitecola funeral home by 10 a.m.. In honor of Claire's compassionate spirit, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
