With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Debra Jane "Debbie" Pataki of Tecumseh, OK.

Debra held deeply to the Baptist faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.

What Debra believed shaped how she loved.

Debra "Debbie" Pataki, 69, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026. Born on October 6, 1956, Debbie lived a life centered around faith, family, and the simple joys that brought her happiness.

Debbie loved God deeply, and her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. She treasured time spent with her beloved dog, Bodie, and found joy in bird watching, cheering on the OU Sooners and the Oklahoma City Thunder, and most of all spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Rex Klapp and Norma Jean Klapp, and her sister, Donna Hobbs.

Debbie is survived by her children, George and Pam Pataki, James Pataki, and Joni Pataki; and by her cherished grandchildren, Blake Pataki, Shelby Pataki, Kaedyn Worley, and Noah Pataki.

Debbie will be remembered for her loving heart, steadfast faith, and the warmth she brought to those around her. Her memory will live on in the lives of her family and friends who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 11, 2026, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Mack Peercy, Calvery Mission Baptist Church, Tecumseh Oklahoma, officiating Burial to follow at Vista Cemetery, Asher, Oklahoma, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.
