Joy Lee Maggard, 90, of Erlanger, KY, formerly of Fort Thomas, KY, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026. She retired as a bank teller with Fifth Third Bank after 25 years of service. After retirement, Joy enjoyed working for Hallmark Greeting Card Company for 13 years. She loved to go shopping and travel to the beach. Joy especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Jack and Martha Raver and siblings: Ruth and Jack. Joy is survived by daughters: Laurie (Jim) Buechel and Lisa Maggard; sons: Jeff Maggard, Steve Maggard and Kevin Maggard; sister: Dottie Klein; grandchildren; Danielle, Dustin, Brittany, Tyler, Jesse, Kailey, Corey, Riley, Makenzie and 7 others; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life for Joy will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM (Noon) at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Memorials are suggested to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital c/o stjude.org. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 is serving the family.
