Judith Louise Pollock nee Segal, 85, beloved wife of the late Byron; loving mother of Steven, Neil, Bradley and mother-in-law of Jennifer ver Huel; daughter of the late Sara and Manuel Segal; treasured sister of Patricia and Alan Rubin, Jerome and Donna Segal, Philip Segal and Shelly Rubenstein, Joseph and Debbie Friedman Segal; Aunt Judy to David and Laureen; Matthew, Lizz and Lina; Julie, Ed and Miles; Janet, Jenk and sons; Nikolai, Marla and Norah; Jill and Andy Havely; dear cousin to Sandra and Judith Fisher, Darrah and Jason, Sydney and Eden Greenberg, Ellia and Maris Greenberg, Joyce, Paul and Jill Grant, Linda Golumbia, Richard Axelrod, Sue and Tony Blumberg, Lois Levy, Anne Levy and Marcy Albert, Karen and Michael Bashkin, Howard, Darlene and Michael Schuff, Jay and Becca Schuff, Amy Schuff, the late Rhonda Robinson and all offspring; the Segal cousins: Joan Waldman, Esther and Randy Fishman, John and Jody Tzucker, Jay and Robin Tzucker, Karen and Mark Thompson, Patty and Gary Goodman, Sam Mishelow, Denise Silbert, Howard and Jane Lefkowitz, Larry Dorfman, Mimi and Jeff Ader, Richard and Lisa Kagan and all offspring.

She treasured her life-long girlfriends from Indianapolis.

She earned her B.A. and Indiana University and her M.A. and Ph.D from Northwestern University. Judith was adjunct faculty in Sociology at Northeastern Illinois University, Roosevelt University and DePaul University. She enjoyed playing the piano and being a community volunteer. Her major interests included books, music, photography, cooking gardening and travel.
