With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Karen A Riedy of New Smyrna Beach, FL.

Some lives speak quietly; her is one such story.

Some people pass through; others leave a path.

Karen A. Riedy entered into God's eternal rest on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at the age of 66. She was at home surrounded by her husband, Mark Taylor, family, and friends. Karen was devoted and compassionate to all who were blessed to know her. For many years, Karen was actively involved in the SCA, dedicating her time and generosity to that association. She also volunteered her time serving local communities. Her favorite, was the local Christmas drive where she assisted with food service and donation efforts for families and children in need. Her love and commitment to helping others was a defining part of her life.Karen found great joy spending her time with "the love of her life" and husband, Mark Taylor. Together, they shared their love of nature and spent quiet moments watching wildlife and feeding birds in their backyard.Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Vivian Undercoffler, Brother, Donald Undercoffler Jr., and Nephew, Jamie Harrison.Karen is survived by her husband, Mark Taylor; her sisters, Marsha and Shelly; as well as several nieces and nephews.A Celebration of Life will take place onSaturday, May 16 from 12-6 P.M. at370 Connecticut Ave. Lake Helen, FL 32744Food and refreshments provided.For any information, please call or text Lisa at 386-204-1546
